No speeches, nothing for sale, no crowds A quiet place to visit on September 11th
For the men, women and children who were murdered--all 2,976.
For the Police, Fire and EMS personnel who responded to the call that Tuesday morning--a day over 400 died.
For the sons, daughters, wives, husbands, fathers, mothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors and co-workers who survive them. For the rescue and recovery personnel.
For the soldiers, who as the dust settled in NYC, DC and PA, walked into harm’s way. Over 6,969 soldiers have died since that day.
St Joseph Church Schedule
The Church of St. Joseph will be open for 24 hours, September 11th. All people of good faith are invited to come, reflect and pray respectfully at any time.
12:01 A.M. A Rosary for the protection of the United States of America.
06:00 A.M. A Rosary for the soul of each person killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.
11:00 A.M. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will begin and continue until 7:00 P.M.
12:00 Noon. A Rosary for soul of the each man and woman of the Armed Forces of the United States of America who have fought and died in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom. and the War on Terror.
3:00 P.M. The Divine Mercy Chaplet.
6:00 P.M. A Rosary for the soul of each Police Officer, Firefighter and Emergency Medical Personnel killed responding to the attacks of September 11, 2001.
6:50 P.M. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will conclude with Benediction at this time.
12:00 Midnight. A Rosary for Peace. For the brave men and women of the military who work tirelessly, even to the point of sacrificing their own lives, to bring about true peace rooted in justice.
